Your Greatest Duty in Life Is to Protect Your Heart

From the moment a person is born, a treasure is entrusted to them by the Divine.
This treasure is sealed in an invisible place, very deep within —
imprinted upon the human heart.

As children, we forget both ourselves and this treasure in order to protect it,
because we do not yet have the strength to guard it.
As we mature, the treasure begins to remind us of its existence.
When a person hears this sacred calling,
they begin tearing away the veils they placed before it, one by one.
And by divine will, they are reunited with their treasure once again.

But there is an important truth to understand:
as these veils are torn away, others begin to notice the light of the treasure.
At this stage, the one entrusted with the treasure must first protect its hiding place —
the heart itself.

There are people who live unaware of their own light.
And when they notice another’s treasure beginning to shine,
they desire to possess it.
These are people lost in darkness,
and even the smallest light draws their attention.
They believe they can find their way by someone else’s light.

If someone appears who wishes to steal that treasure,
the heart closes, and the veils are drawn once more to protect it.
If a person fails to safeguard what was entrusted to them,
the treasure is taken away, and the light within them fades.

The one who steals the treasure gains nothing —
because the treasure is personal and unique.
Once separated from its rightful place, its light extinguishes.
The thief continues to wander in darkness,
and the one who allowed their treasure to be stolen
remains in that darkness alongside them.
There is no difference between them anymore.

In this life, no matter who the other person is —
your child or your spouse,
your mother or your father,
or a stranger —
protect your treasure.

One who does not know how to protect their heart
will have their treasure stolen.

Those who cannot see the light of their own treasure are in great misery,
but before feeling sorrow for them, have compassion for your own heart —
for the heart is created fragile.
Do not remain beside those who see no issue in hurting your heart.
Do not remain beside those who break it without thought.
Do not remain beside those who feel no remorse after doing so.

If you allow your heart to be broken too many times,
the place where your treasure is hidden becomes exposed —
and you lose it.
Then life loses its meaning,
you lose your way,
and you fall back into the dark well once again.

Why do the enlightened ones not reveal the secrets they have attained to everyone?
Because they have found their treasure
and become the most faithful guardians of it.
They do not whisper the truth to those who cannot carry the light of the heart,
nor do they open their hearts to them.
They protect their entrusted treasure with great care.

So listen to your heart — your inner knowing.
If your heart begins to close beside someone, walk away.
If your heart’s light begins to shine, do not leave.

Finding direction is actually simple —
for those who listen to the heart.
Those who listen only to the mind
and ignore the state of the heart
will not find their way out of darkness.
